What the business does

albirint is a software-as-a-service data analytics product. Customers connect their own data — a spreadsheet, a CSV file, a cloud storage bucket, or a SQL database — and ask questions about it in plain English. albirint returns a computed answer: tables, summary figures, and a written explanation.

The intended customer is a business person who today has to ask an analyst or an engineer, or wrestle with a business-intelligence tool, to answer a question about data they already own.

How the product works

An AI model reads the question and writes a step-by-step plan — for example, load the sales table, filter to the first quarter, group by region and product, sum revenue, sort descending. That plan is then carried out by a deterministic execution engine using standard data libraries (Polars, DuckDB and pandas).

The AI plans; it does not do the arithmetic. This split is the point of the product: results are computed by ordinary, testable code, so they are repeatable and can be audited step by step. Each step stores an intermediate result, and the notebook keeps the recipe, so the same analysis can be re-run later on new data.

What we sell

Access to the albirint web application on a monthly or annual subscription. Plans are Free, Pro, Power and Enterprise, and differ by how many queries, notebooks, data sources and saved pipelines they allow, the maximum file upload size, and which types of data source can be connected. We also offer the underlying analysis engine as a standalone API for customers who want to call it from their own software. That is sold under agreed terms — contact us.

Current status

albirint is in development. Accounts are not open for public sign-up, no subscriptions are being sold, and no payments are being taken. The prices published on this site are the intended launch prices. If you would like to be told when early access opens, email us.
